Un-breaking the ActivityPub reactions block

As mentioned in a previous post, I installed the WebMention plug-in on this blog. Turns out it broke the small ActivityPub reactions block I have to show who shared or liked a certain post.

Thanks to GitHub user pfefferle from Automattic, for pointing out that the WebMention plug-in actually seems to have replaced the ActivityPub block by its own.

To patch that, I had to go in the WebMention plug-in settings and turn off:

  • Separate Webmention Types from Comments.
  • Automatically add facepile to comments section.

In any case, the blog should look normal again now.
