With the MMC 2026 winner announcement yesterday, the embargo over Resonite staff promoting specific MMC entries has ended. This means I can finally publish this blog series on some entries I found interesting, cool, or funny.
For this first one, we have Resolaundromat, by Harmonica and Noble, with help from Spark and Yosh.
The premises of the world are fairly simple: if you ever dreamt of washing your clothes in VR, here is your chance.

Just pick some clothes from the table, shove it in the machine, then sit back and relax, easy enough.
You’ve got the choice between two cycle types, “quick wash” which lasts 5 minutes, or “standard wash” which lasts 25 minutes.
After waiting, you can pick your clothes from the machine and bring them to the dryers on the other side of the room. There again, you just have to load the clothes in, and wait.
Once everything’s clean, head to the last table to pack them neatly, and you’re basically done.
The best part of this world so far is that you can just take your smaller friends and wash them in a machine; probably more efficiently than with a shower.
In any case, it was a fun entry to visit, thanks to it, my clothes will never go dirty again.
